FACET BLOCK:

DESCRIPTION: Facet blocks are performed under fluoroscopic guidance and can be diagnostic and therapeutic. Injections are performed at the facet joint or the medial branch nerve. Improvement after this type of injection would be diagnostic for facet joint related pain.
